DAWN TO MID-MORNING
- Arrive to work by 5:30-6:00 A.M.
- Receive a list of all of your patients.
- Patients get diveded into groups, every doctor gets a different group of patients.
- You go to visit all of your patients.
MID-MORNING TO NOON
- Doctors report back after seeing every patient.
- Reporting back means: telling higher ranked doctor how the patient feels and if there is any new data
about their conditiond. - Then with other doctors make a plan for each patient for the day.
NOON TO EVENING
- Doctors start surgery, they are paired with other neurosurgeons
- After surgery, your day can be full of research, presentations, and checking in with patients.
NIGHT
- During the night most surgeries are done. You can have one or multiple surgeries in one night.
